Over 80,000 visitors during Flower Show
Over 80,000 persons visited Girona City History Museum during Girona Flower Time (7-15 May). The busiest day was Sunday 8 May, with 17,065 visitors.
The floral decorations in Girona City History Museum during this year’s Flower Show attracted 81,553 people into the museum premises, with an average attendance of 9,061 visitors per day. However, the most spectacular day was the first Sunday of the show (8 May), when 17,065 persons flocked into the museum.
Visitors were counted as they came in through the Coal Cellar entrance on Pujada de Sant Feliu and the main entrance on Carrer de la Força. The flower show has now spread to several different museum spaces: Coal Cellar, Cistern, Cloister and Cellar Room, with the traditional exhibition of bonsais in the courtyard.
