The Catalonia History Museums Network

The Catalonia History Museums Network is formed by the Cervera County Museum, the Lleida Museum, the Terrassa Museum, the Torre Balldovina Museum of Santa Coloma de Gramenet, and the Museum of the History of Catalonia.

The Directorate-General of the Cultural Heritage, attached to the Department of Culture and Communication Media of the Catalan Government, has commissioned the Museum of the History of Catalonia to coordinate this network with the aim to develop common policies of protection, dissemination, training, and territorial dynamisation of the historic heritage preserved in its member museums. The main goals of this initiative are the improved management of the museums’ collections and facilities, and the unfolding of joint programmes.
