Museum Night

The City History Museum will remain open until midnight on Museum Night. The curator of Girona and France. Times of War and Peace, 1659-1939 will give a guided visit around the exhibition at 8pm.

Girona celebrates International Museum Day with a "white night" during which the majority of the city's cultural centres will remain open to the public. The 2nd Museum Night Treasure Hunt (following on the 2008 treasure hunt organised for the 25th anniversary of TV3) is an activity designed to test participants' skills in the main cultural amenities of Girona. Those who wish to try their luck should enrol by phoning us at +34 972 419010 and +34 972 211678, and come along to Girona Municipal Theatre on 16 May at 8.45 pm.

The cultural treasure hunt is jointly organised by Girona Town Council and ¿la Caixa¿ Foundation, with the participation of the following companies and associations: Bòlit Contemporary Art Centre, Girona Municipal Cultural Centre, Caixa Girona-Fontana d¿Or Cultural Centre, Truffaut Cinema, Comerç Centre Traders¿ Association, Gironamuseus, Bakers¿ and Butchers¿ Association of Girona, Girona Television and the Xirois percussion band.
