New tours into the history of Girona

The City History Museum website is presenting a new section offering virtual tours around the city.

This means another way of exploring the scenarios of Girona's history, without having to go anywhere. To mark the Bicentenary of the Peninsular War (1808-1814), the first of these new tours is devoted to the bastions built in the medieval wall in the Mercadal district. This tour summarises the physical tour of the same title a guided tour in the Trepitja la història ('Walking around History') series that takes visitors around the old medieval wall (now the street Gran Via de Jaume I).
