The Queen of Girona travels to Belgium

The giant of Girona, the queen, has travelled today to Ath, Belgium, where it will be exhibited from 3 July until 15 September.

Girona giant, is regularly exhibited in the stable area dedicated to local festive imagery, along with fourteen other popular figures of the imaginary citizen (the giant, the heads, the Tarlà and Eagle).

Today, it has left their living quarters and has traveled to Belgium, specifically to the Maison des Géant in Ath. This is a museum dedicated to the culture of giant in Europe. Regularly organize temporary exhibitions, which invite Catalan imagery.
This summer, as part of the 300th anniversary of Mrs. Goliath, the giant Ath, from July 3 to September 15, you can visit the large temporary exhibition dedicated to the Giants, who will welcome ten female giant from different European countries . The History Museum of Girona, has given the figure of the city, to publicize Catalan giants, with the collaboration of Fal·lera Gironina and the Generalitat de Catalunya.
