The Coral Àkan acts under the Symphonic Festival

On 7th of June organized 130 concerts simultaneous and free in Catalonia and the Balearic Islands.

The History Museum of Girona collaborates again with the Festival, in which participated 5000 students of the catalan music schools and hosts for second consecutive year the Coral Àkan.
The Àkan Association dedicated to host the immigrants people in a situation specially difficult of Girona and surroundings. The Coral Àkan emerged from the catalan language classes. Nowadays, also it's a representation picture of the values of this association, that it has been awarded with the Salvador Sunyer Prize, that it has delivered Valvi Fundation, this week, in the IX edition.
The concert will take place in the MHG courtyard at 18 h. Its duration will be 1 hour.
