Change in the direction of the Girona History Museum

Sívia Planas replaces Pere Freixas as the new director of the Museum.

Planas, director of the Museum of Jewish History and of the Institute of Studies Nahmànides assumes also the direction of the Museum of History of Girona. Born in Camprodon in 1965, Mrs. Planas graduated in mediaeval history by the University of Barcelona. Her field of research is history of Jewish women in mediaeval Catalonia. She is director the Institute of Studies Nahmànides since 1997.
