Opening of the VAD 1.0

International festival of video and digital arts of the 4 to 11 October in Girona.

A group of 10 collective/artists draws a type of cartography of the that has been the VAD and represents, by diverse reasons, the different styles, the conceptual attitudes, the technical experimentation, the visual aesthetics and, especially, the interdisciplinary quality that defines today the video and the digital arts in the frame of the contemporary art.

Artists: Marcel·lí Antúnez, Manel Bayo, Magali Charrier, Dionís Escorsa, Juan Domingo Ferris, Vicent Gisbert, Bettina Hoffmann, Eloi Maduell, Àlex Posada, Beatriz Sánchez and Santi Vilanova.
Spaces: House of Culture, Centre Cultural the Mercè, Cistern of the City History Museum, Cinema Truffaut and L'Animal a l'esquena.
