The Museum of History of the Ciutat of Girona is one of the members of the Network of Museums of History and monuments of Catalonia.

The main aims are the improvement of the management of the collections, the improvement of the equipments and the deployment of programs of conjoint work. The common politics incidirán in the quality of the equipments, of the professional practices and of the activities and services; in the documentation and conservation of collections; and in the promotion and utilisation of the new technologies of the communication.
