Land of Landscapes

The exhibition was put on with the intention of making more people aware of the importance of our landscape and raising awareness of it.

22 SEPTEMBER 2006 – 08 OCTOBER 2006   (Sala d'exposicions)

It shows how the various landscapes of Catalonia have evolved over time, as well as how to perceive, visualise and interact with those landscapes.
In the final section of the exhibition, visitors can find out how civic organisations and various public authorities are now taking action regarding the landscape, managing it and promoting acquaintance with it so that people may become more aware of its value and learn how to make the most of it without destroying its essence.

Curators: Oriol Nel·lo, Joan Ganyet and Joan Nogué.

Organisers: the Department of Town & Country Planning and Public Works, the Presidential Department, and the Landscape Observatory of the Government of Catalonia.
