Ephemeral’07. Migrations in Contemporary Art

The ephemeral nature and the close relations inherent to migrations lend identity and coherence to this contemporary-art project.

When we speak of Migrations we are referring to art’s mobility across various geographical and more particularly cultural areas. Art becomes an attitude that can be a subtle link in discerning the complexity in which we live, since it should only be governed by creativity and honesty.

Accordingly, social, individual and/or artistic migrations must also let us integrate and interact with a wide range of viewers, making them part of the production of the projects in hand. The area for action is the space of artistic language, though only that part where social elements are bound up with emotional ones. Through various practices in ephemeral art and work-in-hand: films, performances and urban interventions.
