Girona and the sardana

The Historic Legacy of Dance and its presence in the city.

This connection, together with the more important events that led to it, is the theme of this exhibition, which is constructed around three thematic areas: the Girona ring, the voice of the sardana and the sardanes stage. Here we meet the protagonists and organizations that have altruistically contributed from different perspectives to the development and enhancement of the sardana in the city of Girona over the years: musicians, composers, cobles (traditional Catalan orchestras), dancers, groups, sardanes colles (sardanes dance troupes), etc.
