This exhibition explore and contrast visions of inner space and solitude

Space of Silence is the name of a painting by Assumpció Mateu, from the Museum's contemporary art collection, which we have taken as the title and inspiration for the second exhibition in this cycle, showing a selection of paintings, drawings, sculptures, installations and videos with a common introspective approach. The exhibition brings together several generations of outstanding contemporary artists.
The exhibition is completed with works installed in other public facilities, with the aim of inviting everybody to become acquainted with Girona artists and cultural spaces by going along to see the works of art displayed in the Just M Casero Public Library and the Citizen Service and Information Office.
