Petites Mémoires Jean Bigot

A new vision of Rahola through the personal testimony of his daughter Carolina.

Jean Bigot¿s great-grandfathers, Pompeu Fabra and Carles Rahola, were heroes of the Spanish Civil War and are still emblematic figures for modern Catalonia.
In Petites Mémoires, the artist uses his own personal reminiscences to evoke the recent history of Catalonia through his maternal family history that took place between Spain and France against a backdrop of civil war, executions, exile and dictatorship, but also of sunny holidays at the seaside.
