The opening of the first edition of Girona International Mapping Festival will be borne by the Canadian studio Moment Factory, specialized in the conceptualization and production environments and multimedia shows of all kinds that combine video, lighting, architecture, sound and special effects to create "unforgettable moments".

Since 2001 they have done more than 300 installations and events around the world, with clients such as Cirque du Soleil, Disney, Microsoft and Sony.

The opening will take place at Generalitat de Catalunya façane in Girona on July 30 at 10 pm, first day of the Girona International Mapping Festival.
