The series of conferences The judaism and the dramatic arts will offer an approach to the relationship of Judaism with artistic and dramatic expression, both from the position of a Jewish author, as from the projection that the works treated give to concrete aspects of Judaism.
Sarah Bernhardt was a French stage actress who starred in some of the most popular French plays of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, Rostand called her "the queen of the pose and the princess of the gesture", while Hugo praised her "golden voice". She made several theatrical tours around the world, and was one of the first prominent actresses to make sound recordings and to act in motion pictures.
Alicia Noemí Perris is a professor of French, psychologist and writer. Born in Buenos Aires, philologist and clinical psychologist by the Complutense University of Madrid. Teacher and collaborator in several music magazines (Opusmusica, Ritmo) and in Raíces (Casa-Sefarad, Madrid). He has written several biographies of women (Elizabeth of Bavaria, Jackie Kennedy, etc.), translations and collaborations in various publishing houses (Altalena, Triacastela, Medicine, etc.). Doctoral courses on the "Orlando" by Virginia Woolf. He is currently preparing a doctoral thesis on "Elizabeth de Austria y la maladie viennoise" (Vienna end of century).
