January 27th yearly commemorates the International Holocaust Remembrance Day, a date chosen by the United Nations to remember the liberation of the camp extermination of Auschwitz-Birkenau (Poland) in 1945 and to honour the victims.
The International Holocaust Remembrance Day is conceived to keep alive the memory of this barbarism and to educate for the future, against intolerance, discrimination and racism.
