Gironamuseus proposes the visits "Bastint i vestint el patrimoni". We want to talk about the buildings that contain the collections of our museums; their own story and their own anecdotes. If you want to discover these stories, we offer you several guided tours led by experts and connoisseurs of these buildings.

Assumpció Hosta, director of the Patronat Call de Girona, will talk about the origins of the building of the Jewish History Museum and we will travel through its history.

The Bonastruc ça Porta Centre occupies the building which in the 15th century housed the synagogue and other communal areas used by Girona's Jewish community. After the expulsion of the last Jews from the city in 1492, the building survived as a private property until the 1980s, when it was renovated to become the nucleus of the contemporary rehabilitation of the city's Jewish heritage.
