Lecture of the cycle "The arts in Judaism". In this cycle we propose the theme of artistic expression in Judaism, and how some of the visual arts translate aspects of memory, tradition and Jewish culture, cause their authors are of Jewish origin.
From elements of the exhibition "De Superman au Chat du Rabin", Didier Pasamonik will talk about the traces of Jewish culture in the comic book from the beginning of the American comic book to the present day. Rubén Pellejero will make an exhibition on his work El Silencio de Malka (Comic Book Angoulême Prize, 1996) which tells the story of some Jewish immigrants in Argentina.
Didier Pasamonik is a comic book journalist and scientific curator of the exhibition "De Superman au Chat du Rabin" at the Museum of Art and History of Judaism in Paris. It shows the importance of Jewish authors in the creation of mythical heroes like Superman and Batman.
