The exhibition is based on a large-sized reproduction of Fargnoli's picture of five Hebrew tombstones (ca. 1910).

Valentí Fargnoli Annetta (1885-1944) was one of the most prominent photographers of the Girona region during the first half of the 20th century, and one of the few who signed his works. He was a documentary photographer of Catalan monuments and landscapes, but also portraits and group photographs. He visited the Girona nearby municipalities taking photographs, although he also came to places as far away as the Ripoll region.
