Cooking stories and tasting memories - POSTPONEDJewish cuisine activity
We will begin with an explanation in the museum halls to introduce the laws of kashrut and the importance of Jewish families cooking in holidays and celebrations. We will learn what can and can not be eaten, the symbolism of food in the main events of Jewish life and different traditions according to the origin of the families. We will continue with a small workshop in the courtyard where we will learn to prepare a specialty. We will finish with a tasting of appetizers: hummus, bazerjan, green tjnie, bread chips and oriental sandwiches, cookies and flavored water.
