Active Tourism Quality Girona
As part of the European RES'PIR project, the city of Girona has promoted between 2010 and 2014 a quality procedure for the active and nature tourism sector, together with its French partners of l'Ariège. This procedure is aimed at ensuring service quality standards for these activities, in line with the 3 cornerstones of sustainable tourism (economic, social, and environmental).

Commitment to quality
Participation in the quality procedure involves voluntary application of a series of service commitments by the companies taking part. These commitments are agreed among all the participants, in order to guarantee that your experience in nature is truly authentic, unforgettable and of high quality.
