Day and Night of the Museums 2023
Activities at the Jewish History Museum
In the month of May, the museums celebrate two very special events: Thursday 18th International Museum Day and Saturday 13th Museum Night.
International Museum Day was created to raise awareness of the fact that museums are substantial means for cultural exchange, for the enrichment of cultures and for the development of mutual understanding, cooperation and peace between the towns 'Museums, sustainability and well-being' is this year's theme and emphasizes the importance of museums in promoting inclusion and sustainability, fighting social isolation and improving mental health.
Museum Night is a European initiative that is celebrated on the Saturday before International Day. Participating organizations are open until midnight and offer free activities.
The Museum of Jewish History participates in these two celebrations with various activities:
May 13 from 7 pm to midnight
