The Jewish Film Festival returns to Girona

On Thursdays, October 13 and 27, the Truffaut cinema will present a selection of films from the Barcelona Jewish Film Festival 2022

The patronat Call de Girona, together with the Truffaut Cinema, has programmed, together with the Barcelona Jewish Film Festival and the Truffaut cinema two new sessions of the Jewish film cycle.

This year's cycle, proposes to reflect on the cultural legacies deposited in us and how they are transformed. Films that revolve around oxymorons such as memory and oblivion, or identity and difference, and are committed to the viability of cultural coexistence.

Thursday, October 13 - Speer Goes to Hollywood, a very interesting attempt to whitewash and falsify the memory of a questionable past.
Thursday, October 27 - Rose, an attempt to build identity beyond stereotypes.

The films will be in the original version with subtitles and will start at 8 p.m. Admission is free until full capacity.
