The museums of Girona will reopen doors on June 4

A promotional campaign includes offers in the museums of the Generalitat and the City Council the first days

The museums of the Generalitat and the Girona City Council grouped in the Gironamuseus network will jointly open their doors next Thursday, June 4 with a special promotion that will include some offers as free admission the first few days. Thus, museums appeal to the public to visit the valuable collections they treasure, always complying with sanitary measures.

The Gironamuseus network is made up of the Museum of Archeology of Catalonia - Girona, the Museum of Art of Girona, the Museum of the History of Girona, the Museum of the History of the Jews, the Museum of Cinema and the Casa Masó. All of them will reopen doors the next day 4, two and a half months after its closure due to the health emergency. The Bòlit, Center for Contemporary Art, will also reopen since all the museums and the art center wanted to synchronize its opening on the same day.

The six museums and the contemporary art center have adapted their facilities to satisfy the safety and hygiene measures of the disinfestation plans to offer guarantees to workers and give public confidence that the visit will be safe.
