Based in Santa Cruz, California (USA), Zirzuví plays original and traditional Sephardic music, from the Middle East and the Balkans.
Their music join traditions and creates new relationships between music and culture. Zirzuví in Judeo-Spanish means "an indescribable color".
The repertoire includes songs from three albums of Sephardic music with arrangements made by Jamie Barsimantov of the Jewish community in Izmir (Turkey) and original compositions from an album recently published by Scott Stobbe.
