Portraits: One Hundred Years at the Studio (1840-1940) | This is a visual resource focused on portrait photography. A proposal to approach a panoramic and comparative view of the portrait gallery from a selection of 10 portraits of every decade. The aim is to re-evaluate this photographic genre and make it possible for these images to acquire new meanings, closely linked to the observer's time and exclusive to objects that have fallen into disuse. In the privacy of the images there are also public stories, about the community, the religion, the culture, the country, the office, the family, etc. It is therefore a historical research mainly based on the legacy of photographic galleries of the city that in some cases became centenary.
