In the city of Girona's archives there is a great deal of documentation referring to the Jewish community of Girona, in municipal registers, notarial protocols and ecclesiastical documentation. • Documents about the Jewish community in the Fons Ajuntament de Girona, chiefly in the city council's agreement manuals, but also in privileges, royal letters and other documents.
• Parchments referring to the sale of the Girona synagogue building, 1492 - 1575. They are 11 documents stitched together, forming a roll 3.6 metres long, which deal with the sale of the buildings and courtyards of the old synagogue in Girona.

Other testimonies in Hebrew writing that have survived are the gravestones on the mountain of Montjuïc, in the cemetery or fossar dels jueus, now displayed in the Museum of the Jewish History.

Some of the books and documents conserved in Catalan archives, as well as the Municipal Archive, contain drawings that depict Jewish personages or symbols in their pages, thus constituting a portrait, an idealization, or mockery of the Jewish community.
