«La Torna»

In 1977 the theatre company Els Joglars premiered the play La Torna, in which they recreated the last days in the life of Heinz Chez, executed by garrotte together with Salvador Puig Antich. At the height of the transition to democracy, the members of the company were court martialled for insulting the armed forces, something that created an unprecedented popular movement in favour of the freedom of speech and amnesty for the members of the group.
