Joan Carrera Dellunder dedicated the sculpture Shipwrecked to the memory of the people drowned in Lake Banyoles in 1913 and, especially, his brother Martí who died trying to save the passengers of the boat that sank. In the process of making the sculpture he used this photographic study from life.
