In the early 1960s, the arrival of the first tourists looking for sun and sand in the small fishing villages of the Costa Brava was to change their nature and appearance forever. The tourists, coming from Northern Europe, would irreversibly change their way of life, economy, urban layout, and even the way their inhabitants perceived the world.
